We want our kids to be good students, skilled athletes and not embarass us in public. Basically, we want them to be nice.

But is that enough?

I don't think so, which is why I wrote The Danger of Raising Nice Kids - Preparing Our Children to Change Their World.

Nice is not enough.

Nice is not deep enough. Nice is not lasting enough. Nice is often not authentic.
